Legal Intern (Summer 2025)
HBK Engineering is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals for 2025 Summer Legal Intern positions. Our firm offers an excellent learning environment for students allowing them to gain hands-on experience. Engineering Interns at HBK are considered an integral part of the company and are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.
This position offers the opportunity to be part of our Core Services team, that encompasses our Legal, HR, Marketing, Finance, IT and Safety teams. The position will report directly to our in-house counsel.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Document Management: Organize, file, abstract, and track contracts, compliance documents, and other legal records.
- Contract Review Prep: prepare preliminary materials for contract reviews.
- Legal Research & Summaries: Assist with basic legal research and create simple summaries on relevant topics (under supervision).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuit of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least one-year of post-secondary education.
- Interest in relevant career required.
Essential skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
- Prior internship and/or related consulting experience.
- Involvement on campus or in the community.
- Flexible and able to work overtime when required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
